Join us Saturday, August 25, and Tuesday, September 4, through Saturday, September 8, as Public Media North Carolina brings its Public Media North Carolina CARES initiative to New Bern. With a wide range of engagement activities, there are many ways you can connect with us in New Bern including:

• Saturday, August 25, 10 AM - 2 PM — Read-a-roo's Block Party LIVE! at the New Bern Convention Center
• Tuesday, September 4-Saturday, September 8 — Public Media North Carolina’s Content teams will be in the area, producing stories for our original productions that will showcase the region
• Wednesday, September 5, 8 AM - 1 PM — Craven County Summit on Economic Development and Community Redevelopment at the New Bern Convention Center
• Wednesday, September 5, 6 - 8 PM — Producer Meet-and-Greet Event at The Grill at Prohibition.
• Friday, September 14, from 9 AM - 1 PM — Veterans Coffee Event as part of the Fifth Annual Veterans Stand-Down at the Stanley-White Recreational Center in New Bern

Frank Graff is an award winning producer/reporter with UNC-TV Public Media North Carolina, focusing on SciTech Now North Carolina, a weekly science series that airs Wednesdays. In addition to producing these fascinating stories, Frank provides additional information through his blog. Frank joined PMNC in October 2012, bringing with him almost 25 years of broadcasting experience.
