IT Client Support Specialist I

The IT Client Support Specialist I provides support and service administration including software and hardware troubleshooting, configuration, and installation as well as serving as a resource to other end users.

Responsibilities:

Maintains, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs workstations while relocates and deploys new workstations.

Upgrades and installs hardware and software.

Uses electronic and networking testing equipment.

Provides asset management and documentation.

Creates and manages trouble and request tickets.

Provides customer service to end users.

Provides set-up of multimedia to include projectors, screens, laptops, etc. for classrooms and special events.

Trains staff, faculty, and students on technology and software.

The job responsibilities will include the ability to lift equipment and access areas under desks.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree and 0+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information

Preferred Qualifications:

IT degree or previous technical experience.

Willingness to learn. 

Basic knowledge of computer systems and networking.

Ability to analyze problems and offer solutions.

Ability to manage various tracking or tasking systems.

Quality communication skills.

Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
