July 4: Summerlin Patriotic Parade

Summerlin’s grandest tradition returns this Independence Day in star-spangled style. Recognized for its unique and dazzling displays, the Summerlin Council Patriotic Parade is set to continue its tradition of huge family fun and spirited, colorful patriotism this Fourth of July.
And in 2026, the parade is set for a once-in-a-generation hometown celebration of America 250.
The 2026 Grand Marshall is Col. Trevor Merrell, Commander of the 432nd Wing at Creech Air Force Base, Nevada, where he leads the Air Force’s first Remotely Piloted Aircraft wing.
Parade attendees may set up their viewing area along the parade route beginning at 7 a.m. the day before the event. Personal items placed before this time will be removed and donated.
