Itinerary
Day #1 – October 5
A private coach will depart from the Amherst AAA Office (100 International Drive, Williamsville) at 5pm and you will ride in comfort to Toronto Pearson International Airport for your 11:40pm Air Canada flight departure.
Day #2 – October 6
Upon arrival, there will be a guide to meet and assist from Heathrow to The Dilly Hotel, a vibrant historic hotel in the heart of London. Suggestions for the afternoon will be provided, giving you time to check-in and explore at your leisure until the welcome dinner at a local pub.
Day #3 – October 7
After a hearty breakfast at The Dilly, you’ll be treated to a Half-Day Rock & Roll Sightseeing Tour -- seeing London from a rock and roll lover’s perspective on a guided bus tour with an English-speaking guide. We’ll roll up to iconic places such as Jimi Hendrix’s flat (entry not included) and the Beatles Abbey Road to learn about their incredible history.
Day #4 – October 8
Are you ready for some football? After fueling up with another Dilly breakfast, you’ll depart from The Dilly to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the highly-anticipated Buffalo Bills vs. Jacksonville Jaguars game. The group will return back to The Dilly following the game.
Day #5 – October 9
Today you enjoy a full day of sightseeing! After breakfast, you’ll spend the morning on a guided tour of Royal Albert Hall, one of London’s most iconic music venues and tourist attractions. The world’s stars from every type of performance have appeared on our stage. Together with a friendly English-speaking guide, you’ll take a peek at the royal areas of the Hall, see the breath-taking auditorium, and the stage that’s hosted some of the world’s biggest change-makers, history-shapers and stars – from Arctic Monkeys to Muhammad Ali, BBC Proms to Beyoncé, Cirque du Soleil to Winston Churchill, and Albert Einstein to Ed Sheeran. You will discover how the building was founded 150 years ago, the royal love story that made it happen, and how one of the UK’s most enduring engineering challenges was solved – the Royal Albert Hall echo. You might even be lucky enough to hear an artist in soundcheck!
From there, we’ll check out the “The Vault” at Hard Rock: When you think of the Hard Rock Cafe you are likely to think of the rock memorabilia, but did you know you can see some real treasures without sitting down for a burger and fries? The Vault is the ‘museum’ at the Hard Rock Cafe in London and it’s free to visit seven days a week.
In the afternoon, there will be a guided tour/stroll of SoHo area and free time for shopping.
After, we’ll meet up for group 3-course dinner at a local restaurant in vibrant area of SoHo. (Include 1 drink per person: 1 Glass of Wine/Beer or Soda.) Return to The Dilly after dinner.
Day #6 – October 10
Enjoy your final Dilly breakfast before departing for London’s Heathrow airport at 2pm for your 6pm non-stop flight back to Toronto YYZ. After clearing customs and claiming bags, our transfer will be waiting to return us the Buffalo area. We anticipate a midnight - 12:30PM approximate arrival back to AAA WCNY office parking lot.
