Who We Are
Central Florida’s PBS Station

WUCF TV delivers high-quality, commercial-free programming on air and online. Broadcasting from the University of Central Florida, WUCF combines nationally recognized PBS content with original local productions like Florida Road Tripthat reflect the region’s unique communities and stories.
WUCF Jazz Radio on 89.9 FM

WUCF Jazz is Central Florida’s only full-time jazz and Latin jazz radio station, broadcasting on 89.9 FM and streaming online. While amplifying local and upcoming artists, the station also delivers critical emergency alerts through its partnership with the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network (FPREN).
Educating Families

WUCF Education delivers free, inclusive resources that strengthen families and make learning fun. Thoughtfully designed programs such as On My Way to K and Meet the Helpers prepare young learners for success, builds confidence in caregivers and educators, and creates a measurable impact on school readiness.
Our Mission
Public media is media created to serve people, not to make a profit. It can be a powerful force in our communities, creating an environment where people are inspired to learn more about each other, do more to solve societal issues, and become their best possible selves.
Even after losing state and federal funding in 2025, we’re still here— delivering enjoyable educational content, showing up in our neighborhoods, and sharing an eclectic blend of jazz on the radio.
