PBS Reno Promotes Megan Myers to Chief Content Officer


RENO, NV (AUG 27, 2026) – PBS Reno has promoted Megan Myers to the role of Chief Content Officer. As Chief Content Officer, Myers serves as an active member of the senior management team at PBS Reno, providing strategic leadership for all content, programming, marketing, communications, audience engagement, digital platforms, and brand initiatives across PBS Reno brands.

Myers now oversees the creation, acquisition, promotion, distribution, and performance of content on broadcast, streaming, digital, social, and emerging platforms, and is responsible for audience growth, brand stewardship, content strategy, community impact, and platform performance; she ensures that PBS Reno content and services effectively engage viewers, members, donors, educators, and community stakeholders. Myers will continue championing a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across content, marketing, and audience-facing teams.

Since joining PBS Reno in 2003, Myers has held a variety of positions including Master Control Operator, Producer/Editor, Development Producer, Senior Development and Marketing Producer, and until recently, Vice President of Content. Under Myers’ leadership, PBS Reno has earned multiple Communicator and Telly Awards for local productions. Myers was also inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in 2024.
