Member and Donor Stories: Why I Give to PBS North Carolina

Meet PBS NC Sustainer Carol Risucci

PBS NC Sustainer Carol Risucci shares how PBS shaped her childhood and how her children grew up watching PBS as well. Thank you for sharing your story, Carol!

"PBS North Carolina brings my family together throughout the week watching the PBS NewsHour, giving to us honest news of the day without bias. Our Saturday and Sunday evenings are filled with wonderful entertainment from 7 PM to Midnight. Most recently we have been absorbed in Atlantic Crossing and World on Fire. We can't wait until the next season arrives for the various Masterpiece series that we watch, and we are so disappointed when each Masterpiece series concludes. No matter the program, PBS North Carolina never disappoints."

Diane (Summerfield, NC)

"My wife and I love PBS. It truly is one of the few TV networks, broadcast, cable, or streaming, that provides a variety of programming. News, science, politics, and of course those great British TV shows. My wife and I Iook forward every Saturday and Sunday to view the evening British shows. MASTERPIECE offers some of the greatest of all time. Our lives would be drab without PBS."

Robert (Roxboro, NC)

anne-robert-stokley

"We've supported PBS NC since the early '80s, enjoying brilliant science shows, travel, documentaries, local profiles, and Masterpiece dramas - and years of Sesame Street when our daughter was young. We turn to PBS almost every evening to keep learning and enjoy quality programming. We are proud sponsors."
