ABOUT THE SERIES:
CARL THE COLLECTOR follows the everyday adventures of Carl, a warm-hearted autistic raccoon who enjoys collecting things and loves his friends and family in Fuzzytown. Carl pays extraordinarily close attention to detail and comes up with unique ideas that others might not consider. These traits have helped him amass his extensive collections—from autographs and bottle caps to fake mustaches, pet rocks, sweaters, and virtually everything in between—which can come in handy for solving problems around the neighborhood with his friends.
Join IdahoPTV for a free screening of the Emmy award-winning createid documentary, "SARA: A Life in Dreams and Symbols" at The Community Library in Ketchum.
Following the screening, hear from the producer and director of the program, as well as from family members of Sara Joyce, the artist whose life and work is portrayed in the film.
Attendees will also get a sneak peek of the newest Ken Burns series, Leonardo da Vinci, premiering Monday, November 18th on PBS. It’s the first film by Burns’ company about a subject outside of the United States, and approaches the work and mind of da Vinci in a novel way.

Join IdahoPTV for a free screening of the createid short film, "Somos México Lindo (We are México Lindo)" at the Idaho State Museum in Boise.
Following the screening, enjoy a live performance by Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo, the Idaho dance group from the film.
ABOUT THE FILM:
Ballet Folklorico Mexico Lindo Idaho is a window into the vibrant Mexican heritage that exists not only in Boise, Idaho, where it is located, but also throughout the United States.
Since 2003, the group’s members have dedicated their time and talents to folklórico dancing, a traditional Mexican dance genre that synthesizes elements of African, European, and indigenous cultures. Many of Mexico’s 31 states have their own folklórico dances, the music and costuming of which tell the story of their region.
