High School Bowl returns to WNMU-TV! We are excited to kick off our 44th season with Marquette taking on Hancock this Saturday at 8:30/7:30c. Who will be our next champion? Tune in to find out!
High School Bowl is WNMU-TV’s most popular local production. Since 1977, teams from area high schools have been going head-to-head in a battle of knowledge. Four-person teams answer questions about history, science, literature, geography, art, music, math, and more. Teams from across the Upper Peninsula, Northern Michigan, and Northern Wisconsin compete in an annual 37-game single-elimination tournament.
The new 44th season returns Saturday, November 5th with host Jim Koski. He will challenge the “best and brightest” from 36 area high schools competing for scholarships and prestige in a battle of speed and knowledge. High School Bowl airs locally Saturdays at 8/7c and Mondays at 3/2c on WNMU-TV PBS (13.1); and across the state of Michigan on Mondays at 1/12c and 8/7c on the Michigan Learning Channel (13.4). Full episodes are also available online and with the PBS Video app.
