Program Distribution and Acquisitions Manager
This position is responsible for the creation and management of program assets for PBS North Carolina and its various distribution channels including the acquisition of content for distribution on The North Carolina Channel and related video-on-demand services. This position is also responsible for the intake and distribution of program deliverables to appropriate staff in various departments and numerous distribution points.
EDUCATION AND INNOVATION
Project Manager, Learning Productions
The primary purpose of this position will be to act as the Project Manager for PBS North Carolina's Media Innovation Lab (The MIL). Duties will include overseeing the department’s scheduling and planning needs, including, but not limited to curriculum and instructional materials, professional certifications and online courses, and the division’s online, broadcast, immersive, interactive and emerging media projects.
TECHNOLOGY
Tower & Maintenance Technician
The Tower & Maintenance Technician ensures the transmission of PBS North Carolina broadcast signals, the integrity of broadcast equipment as related to the position and the overall condition of the 50 service sites. This position provides building and tower construction, remodeling and maintenance of PBS NC's Transmission sites. This includes inspections and necessary maintenance on the tower structures, buildings, access roads and grounds.

We are the best of PBS with a local accent. More than just a television network, we are virtual classroom, a news and entertainment hub, an emergency communication center and so much more.
Our twelve stations provide all 100 counties in the state with four unique broadcast channels: PBS NC, North Carolina Channel, Rootle (our 24/7 PBS KIDS channel) and the Explorer Channel.
One million viewers watch our broadcast offerings every week, and more than 165,000 people take part in our events every year.
