Live @ the Lakefront returns in 2022 for a thirteenth season!

The RCM Maritime Committee, in partnership with Discovery World, The Bartolotta Restaurants and Harbor House, present this free concert series to the city, catering to families and a sophisticated, professional downtown audience while celebrating the diversity of Milwaukee’s rich musical tastes and traditions. The outdoor 350-seat Rotary Amphitheater plays host to some of the finest talent across genres in the area all playing their own original music. All concerts are produced for LIVE streaming on Milwaukee PBS by TV and eProduction Students at MATC/MPBS. Artists play original music... Audiences dance the night away... and everyone enjoys the beautiful Milwaukee Lakefront!!
All programs are LIVE when the event occurs- then re-edited for time and re-uploaded to the MPBS webpage and YouTube site.

On August 24th, Live @ the Lakefront welcomes the Jay Stulo Band with Big Al Dorn!
Named the 2021 WAMI Blues Band of the Year, Jay Stulo has been playing the blues since the late 1980’s. He has toured the nation several times and released 5 CDs. Influenced by multiple genres, Jay is not a traditional blues artist by any means, and this is not your grandfather’s blues - versatile, high energy guitar, rock-tinged hooks, and gut-bucket vocals make for a show to remember.
Joining Jay on short notice to replace the COVID-stricken Chainsmokers will be Chris Hanaway on bass guitar, Tom Hansen on drums and vocals, and special guest Big Al Dorn playing harmonica.

With smoking grooves served up with hot harmonica, silky sax and stinging guitar, these guys are world-class entertainers.

Reverend Raven and the Chain Smoking Alter Boys
Reverend Raven and the Chain Smoking Altar Boys play traditional blues, straight-up with a big dose of passion. With smoking grooves, served up with hot harmonica and smooth stinging guitar they play original songs peppered with nods to Slim Harpo, Little Walter, Jimmy Rogers, Billy Boy Arnold, Junior Wells and the Three Kings.
Los Ciegos del Barrio
Literally translated as "The Blind Boys of the Neighborhood", this incredible multi-genre Latin music group composed of legally blind musicians. Based in New York since 1997 and recording since 2000, their original combinations of meringue, bachata, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton and rock have been featured on three albums, that received national airplay.
Finbar McCarthy
A native of Dublin, Finbar first started playing local pubs at 12-years-old and has since traveled the world extensively entertaining audiences with his Irish flair in such far flung places as the Nordic Concert Hall in the Faeroe Islands and Irish Emporium in Morocco. He moved his family to the US in 1992, settling in Saukville, WI, and has performed regularly throughout the country ever since.
