Arlington, VA; April 25, 2024 -- The Peabody Awards Board of Jurors announced the nominees for the 84th annual Peabody Awards, representing the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and streaming media during 2023. Of the 68 total nominations, PBS received 11 total nominations, the most of any organization, followed by HBO / Max (8), and Netflix (4). FRONTLINE received six of the 11 total PBS nominations.
The winners of the 84th annual Peabody Awards will be announced on Thursday, May 9 and then celebrated on Sunday, June 9 at a ceremony at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles.
