Outdoor Wisconsin launches its 30th season with a ladies' ice fishing adventure on Lake Winnebago. Dan Small demonstrates how to still hunt for deer, and we'll take you back to 1988 when legendary bowhunter Art LaHa shared an important lesson about ravens and deer.

Meet the show host - Dan Small

Dan Small has been host/producer of Milwaukee PBS' Outdoor Wisconsin since its premiere in November, 1984.

He is an avid outdoors-man and a widely published writer/photographer with credits in national and regional magazines. His writing has won numerous awards in regional and national competition.

Small is a former director of the Friends of Milwaukee's Rivers, the Ice Age Park and Trail Foundation, the Wisconsin Outdoor Communicators Association, the Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers and the Outdoor Writers Association of America.

Dan Small is also the host of a radio talk show, OUTDOORS RADIO WITH DAN SMALL, heard on Newstalk 1130 WISN-AM radio in Milwaukee and 10 other stations in Wisconsin and Michigan.
