Bob Kelley - On-Air Host


Bob Kelley is a University of Florida graduate and a native Floridian. His hometown is Winter Park. Bob spent 22 years as a jazz broadcaster at 103.1 WLOQ. While there he interacted with many legends of jazz including Count Basie, Chuck Mangione, Buddy Rich, Al Jarreau, Dave Brubeck, B.B. King, and David Sanborn.

For many years, Bob also worked with Swiss television and press from Italy and Germany in covering the Montreux Jazz Festival. In doing so, he interviewed Kenny G and Steve Cropper among other jazz luminaries.

Bob has been with 89.9 Jazz & More since February 2015 as host of Saturday Afternoon Jazz, adding host of Midday Jazz in 2019. He also produces the 89.9 Events Calendar.

Bob also serves on the Board of Directors for the Central Florida Jazz Society where he handles publicity and hosting live concerts.
